New Podcast to Help You Share the Norwex Mission

Today I am delighted to welcome my friend and visionary, Angela Haseltine Pozzi, Founder, Executive Director and Artistic Director at the nonprofit Washed Ashore. Angela shares the heart-warming story of how a trip to the ocean for her own personal healing has led to a massive effort to save an ocean in need of healing itself. Join me as she shares how her long-ago walks down the beach have now resulted in more than 25 million people developing a keener understanding of the pervasive problem of ocean pollution. Her story is so encouraging and proves, once again, how a willing spirit and small, conscious choices can make a world of difference.

The Washed Ashore Project

Angela founded Washed Ashore ten years ago with the vision to make art to save the sea. Today, Angela, her staff and thousands of volunteers have processed close to 30 tons of debris washed up on beaches and created over 80 stunning sculptures of animals threatened by the very plastic they’re made of. The sculptures have made appearances at countless zoos and aquariums, the United Nations Plaza in New York and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, among others. They help educate and inspire others to do what they can to reduce the plastic choking our oceans and endangering marine life.

So glad to part of Norwex because that make me be a part of Washed Ashore. I love the beaches and the oceans. So glad that she took on the mission to develop Washed Ashore. It is a great way to help save our sea animals and get the toxins out of the water in the ocean and off our beaches.
