Welcome to my podcast with Terry Collins, Ph.D., Professor of Green Chemistry and Director of the Institute for Green Science at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Green chemistry is defined as “the design of chemical products and processes to reduce and eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances.”

Listen as Dr. Collins shares some of the disturbing effects of hazardous chemicals like endocrine disruptors and provides some of the most important things you can do now to help reduce them in your home. Dr. Collins also shares why it will take all of us working together to help ensure green chemistry is embraced worldwide.
